The 15th day of the 7th month of the lunar calendar, commonly known as the half of the 7th month. It is said that on that day, the gates of hell will be opened and the ghosts of the underworld will be released. Those who have descendants or descendants to worship go home to receive incense offerings; the orphaned souls roam around, wandering wherever people can get to them to look for food. But what is the food that these ghosts are looking for? Is it incense, or is it the brains of the living?
